INTERNATIONAL OPEN CALL FOR ENTRIES
"Library Thoughts-2, Budapest 2012"
Deadline: 03/15/12
The HMC announces an open call for entries to exhibit in Budapest, exhibition
opening on Friday, August 24, 2012.
Open to all artists. Jury.
1. Send the application form by email
to bszechy@yahoo.com, artist resume/CV, artist statement, 1 - 3 still image work samples OR 2-3 two-minute of video (Youtube)
by email and participation fee by PayPal ($35), it covers application fee, video documentation, organization of
the exhibition, invitation card, and advertizing.
Please send the application form, cv. resume and statement
in .txt or .doc or .pdf format.)
2. Notification letter will be sent on 03/25/12.
3. Original artworks arrival to
HMC, 2503 Costa Mesa Dr. Dallas, TX 75228 by 04/15/12
or 1124 Budapest, Tamasi Aron u. 34. by 06/15/12
How
influenced the digitalized area the traditional reading culture? Is it finished the Gutenberg area? Artist books,
works on or of paper may be any size, but MUST fit in a 9 X 12 (22.9X30.5cm) envelope. Unmatted, unframed photography,
drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media, cast or folded paper, multimedia, digital prints or artbooks.
Exhibition: August 24 - September 21, 2012.
Send original artworks only after acceptance. Put artist`s
name, address, title & date of work and medium on back of the work. Accepted art works need to arrive to our Dallas
office by April 15, 2012 or to our Budapest office by June 15, 2012.
